We have been breeding top dogs for generations, with a focus on making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible. We strive to breed the best animals we can, educate their new owners and ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve. 

 

HISTORY

 The Krafthaus family tradition of dog breeding and training began in the early 1940's. Located in Wood County, West Virginia on a 40 acre facility named Sunnyhill Farm. The family farm was well known for highly trained beagles for competition field trials. Some of the top dogs in the field were bred, sold and distributed throughout the world to avid beagle club field trial members and hunters. One of the most winning field trial beagles of all times "Rocky" was born, raised and trained at Sunnyhill. For 14 years Rocky was the lead dog and the sire to hundreds of winning field trial puppies and family hunting dogs. From there, the kennels grew to include breeding, raising and training bloodhounds. Sunnyhill produced some of the top dogs in their field for law enforcement tracking and cadaver work. Over the years as the generations have changed, so have the dogs. Moving from West Virginia in the Ohio Valley to the mountains North of Knoxville Tennessee, Krafthaus German Shepherds a 3rd generation dog breeder which specializes in some of the top pedigrees in European bloodlines and imports. Krafthaus targets the best of the best and focuses on excellent genetics in the predecessors of our dogs in order to bring to you excellent working line k9s. Producing excellent quality police, military, family protectors and companions. Our dogs can be traced back several generations with numerous working world championship titles. Many of the best working dogs of all times can be found to be directly linked to our breeding lines. Be assured only hand select, bred and family raised puppies are offered for your needs.
